Refundable Holding Deposit

Capped at the equivalent of one weeks’ rent. In the case of a successful letting, these monies can either be returned to the tenant or held as part payment towards the initial rent. The Holding Deposit can only be retained for the following reasons :

  • False information is given by the applicant, such as income levels or irregularities in previous addresses
  • The applicant withdraws from the process
  • The applicant fails to advise of a County Court Judgement (CCJ) against him/her

Administration Fees (only applicable to Company Lets and Tenancies with rents exceeding £100,000 per annum)

  • Tenancy Agreement Fee : £240 (inc vat)
  • Reference Fee : £60 (inc vat)

No Tenant Renewal Fees

Deposit

  • Rents under £50,000 per annum : equivalent to 5 weeks’ rent
  • Rents over £50,000 per annum : equivalent to 6 weeks’ rent

Deposits with rents under £50,000 per annum will be held with the Deposit Protection Service (DPS)

Inventory costs (only applicable to Company Lets and Tenancies with rents exceeding £100,000 per annum)
